Yes March 23rd seems to be the big night this WMC this lineup of events is amazing and it gets better:
The fifth anniversery of SAW Records will be celebrated at the Shelbourne Hotel in Maimi:

Well ive been talking to some people I know that DJ professional(not gonna name drop like some TA's) but they are telling me that Thursday which is the 23rd will be a big night because they can do all their WMC meetings and PR before and DJ once then have gigs later that weekend to make more money etc.....it does things up though |

Hahahaha... I know the feeling...:sadgreen:
And to be honest it makes sense, and I really don't have any problem with guys who have earned their way up trying to do as well as they can possibly do, especially during WMC week (Hell, I'll even have records/CD's with me, and I just wanna PLAY PERIOD! :p)!!!!
The real place money pisses me of in the scene is when I see guys like Tommy Lee headlining (As a DJ) a night where PREsales cost $75... That's really where I start hating money, because in instances like that, that's all it's about... :rolleyes:

Im getting payed pretty well now to play in Europe but Im takin production courses here in NYC which is killing the pay since the airfare and whatnot but whatever I dont do it for money lol.

I'm not getting my hopes up by any means man, but it can't hurt to have them along... ;)
And until I'm done with school here in Point (The only school in the country I can do my current specialization), it doesn't even really pay to try to jump hard into the club scene. I mean I'm 5 hours from Chicago alone... Not exactly easy to be out whoring yourself on the weekends... So for the moment I'm happy with my little residency in a town of 100,000 and my dreams... But I'd like to talk to you a lot more at length about how you ended up getting over to Europe to play, that's been a dream of mine for years...
Edit: Sorry, kind of went off on a tangeant there... What can I say, the only people who know me (As a DJ that is) are either TA's or live in Wisconsin :haha: |
