The mixing is way better than your previous set and in fact I deem it flawless. The build on the other hand was a little stretched meaning you took a while to get to the point. Simply put the first half of the set wasn’t going anywhere. After that you finally picked up the pace with some more upbeat stuff. Again I can’t vouch for your track selection because it’s certainly different from what I’m used to so I won't comment. What I can say is that all the music you selected fit like a glove does a hand. They fit because none of the tracks seemed out of place so the flow was not sacrificed. Overall nice set din-...I mean...Allied Nations.

First 10 min were awsome, if your in the right mood. I like how all those tracks just blurred together and where so smooth. You didnt really notice that it was 3 tracks but rather one big one. Great job on the looping.

I wasnt a huge fan on Mandy - Put put track. Vocals and direction of the track just didnt cut it for me personaly, maybe it would sound better in a club, I dunno.

Nintendub is a killer track. I love that bassline. I will have to get it soon and look for the remixes.

Another killer tune is: Danny Howells and Stef Vrolijk - Phono Corono (16 Bit Lolitas Remix). Love the little voice that says yeah yeah. Excellent instrumentals underneath it, with a groovey bass thats not overpowering. Great stuff, just a chill track at the same time as being groovy.

I love the guitar sound on 8. Luke Fair - Lokitas Vs. Laurent Garnier - The Man With The Red Face (Ricky Ryan Hammond Dub Edit). Thats what makes that track for me.

I have to go to bed. I like your mixes they have unique tracks and are just a new and interesting experience for me that open my eyes a bit more each time I listen.

Overall I think this a great set, but its not for everyone and you kinda have to be in the mood to listen to it. At least thats what my feelings are. I like the tracks and the flow and the overall mixing. Great work. Some tracks get lost between others and some dont fit (prolly not my style).

When are you going to introduce me to all the DJs/Producers you know? :toothless I want to get into the cool tracks circle of trust too. :sadgreen:

Keep up the great work man, you will go places. Just keep at it one bit at a time. Good Job on landing those first few live shows.

Previous set was mixed like ass. yeah, i was really working the more soulful aspects the first half.. i liek that sound a lot, and all those tunes were at a low speed and not on a club system, the more minimal stuff can really go OFF on a big system...

Yeah, i know i dont spin what you spin, but yeah, thanks for the kind words..

It would fit perfectly if that had been the start of a 3-4 hour + set, but since its only an hour I think you could have picked up the pace a lil faster. But like I said those tracks are sick anyway...

It's funny that you mention 3-4 hour sets.. thats what ive been playing out a lot lately.. i love long slots.. so much better, but i hate recording looong mixes..

Hmm... Thanks again everyone!

Now everyone else, download this piece!

i'm just downloading your set, so i can't comment on the sound yet. however, looking at your tracklist, i'd say you have a great sense of direction. there are comments on how you took a while to build up, but i see you've thrown in some minimal at first and started building up from way down. i've yet to hear the product, but, if, as they say, your mixing is on par, then you've got a great demo here. i can see the dj mentality all over it. well done on the t/l is all i can say so far.

Thanks, i always spend a fair amount of time putting together tunes for a demo, usually i have a batch of maybe 20-30 tunes when i get it going, will get comfortable with all those tunes, then just record some sets, see what happens, and then ill record the set and ouala! this is it for january!
