I know theres alot of computer savy people on this forum, so I'm posting another computer question in here.
I'm having a problem with my computer. When I watch a video in firefox or IE, from a site like google videos, my CPU usage goes up to like 100%, and then its all choppy. Its never done this before until about a week ago.
I've done every virus scan, spyware, and so many friggin things, trust me, i've done it, and I dont have a virus or anything like that. I've used about 10 different programs for so many things, found a few things, got them off, and thats that.
I've used:
- Ccleaner
- Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool
- Ad-Aware SE
- Spybot Search & Destroy
- Microsoft Antispyware
- AVG
- NOD32
- CWShredder
- Kill2Me
- Bitdefender
and PandaActiveScan
anything that was found, was deleted and is now gone, and basically there was not much found in the first place.
Anyone have any ideas? |

1. Reboot.
2. Reinstall.
3. Reformat.
(The 2HP.ca Radio filestore is having #3 done right now). |

I love flattening and reinstalling everything.
In fact, my Athlon64 box needs that right about now. It's been a while. |

Firefox has a memory leak. It's well known and will be fixed in the near future.
I had no idea about this until I read about it actually just last week. Having lots of RAM makes you forget things :toothless |

Reformatting is such a pain in the ass... but worth it if you're having all sorts of random issues that you can't figure out.
Mine needs one too soon ... :nervous: |
