Group A:
Kazakhstan
Azerbaijan
Armenia
Finland
Belgium
Serbia & Montenegro
Poland
Portugal

I think Serbia & Montenegro & Portugal. Poland are strong and I don't see Belgium doing anything consistent

Group B:
Faroe Islands
Georgia
Lithuania
Scotland
Ukraine
Italy
France

Italy & Ukraine - France have just shown us how they can struggle to qualify out of an easier group, I can honestly see an upset

Group C:
Malta
Moldova
Hungary
Bosnia-Herzegovina
Norway
Turkey
Greece

sorry to say but I see greece struggling. Norway & Turkey imo

Group D:
San Marino
Cyprus
Wales
Rep of Ireland
Slovakia
Germany
Czech Republic

Czechs & Krauts here, although Ireland will be close in 3rd.

Group E:
Andorra
Macedonia
Estonia
Israel
Russia
Croatia
England

We have a harder group than most people think, we've struggled in places like Macedonia before when they play very defensive. Israel may be moved to a 'neutral' place if there's trouble by then, Russia will be a good test away, as will the croats.

Group F:
Liechtenstein
Northern Ireland
Iceland
Latvia
Denmark
Spain
Sweden

Spain & Denmark as sweden are aging and may go through the transitional phase that denmark did after wc 2002

Group G:
Luxembourg
Belarus
Albania
Slovenia
Bulgaria
Romania
Holland

the Dutch will make it, Slovenia, Bulgaria & Romania will be closely matched, and i can't really call it for sure.

I forgot about Boji & Co. Bulgaria may play good and have a chance to qualify. But I certainly hope they won't collapse like they did against the bigger teams in WC 2006 Qualifier.

Although, I think that Boji may get his true big breakthrough in the Euro 2008 Qualifier, I hope so.

Serbia & Montenegro is looking strong even though some of the players may stop playing after this World Cup. Alot of new players are to be tested by what hopefully will be Petkovic. He's done a terrifick job so far and I'm glad he got the chance to take on this mission which he passed by taking S&M to WC 2006 in Germany.

I'm supporting Sweden too ofcourse, But I still can't say anything about the qualifier because I'm not sure how they will do in the future. Nothing has been said about the older players, that they're quitting and such, So It'll be much more clear after the World Cup. Henrik Larsson hasn't even decided whether he's going to continue playing for Barceloan or not, So we'll see about it..

btw, what is Kazakhstan doing in the european zone? They have a border with Mongolia ffs :wtf:

:haha: :haha:

You're still pissed on the fact that our nationalteams has to play against e teams in the former Soviet.

I remmeber when Serbia lost to Azerbaijan in Baku. I can't remember that I've been more dissapointed than this time, ever. But to be honest, we didn't have a chance to qualify. We've also lost to Finland in Helsinki, but when we played them at that time, one of our players was drunk at match day, Very unprofessional.

This is why I like Petkovic so much, He manages to create a great organisation around and for the team.

Easy group for Greece.

lol, yes i've always asked myself that question too :stongue:

About group A: i don't think belgium will make it. i guess the happy 2 will be Portugal and Serbia & Montenegro.

Cloud, i think it won't be easy for Greece, with Turkey and Norway.
zoric
Turkey & Norway are two good teams, so it'll def. not be easy for the Greeks.

that's rubbish. While I have greek ancestory, I don't think they have a chance, unless players like stelios etc play at the top of their game, they will end up like the WC qualifying group.
