Maybe... but if you are not into the basics yet (most people want to start with at least some first sucess before studying really technical stuff) and you read on a forum "do this, do that with lp, notch... whatever set it to xyw" there is no common language between the pro and the beginner. If you have a book with nice pictures, some presets and a project ready to load into your sequencer, you can at least see what this and that does and can start changing parameters etc. |

+1 I don't think I could have said that better myself ;)
Also, the guy who wrote the book has a forum and answers questions from guys who are eagar to learn the basics. Which other producer does this?

Right, the forum is really nice. I don't know if it will stay like it is, because the book is quite new and Torsten might loose interest someday. But I have allready got some interesting answers to my questions regarding his workflow etc. |
