anyone use their laptop without the battery in it??

alrite so basically i use my laptop only as a desktop replacement, never really take it anywhere with me, it's always just at home...lately the battery has been giving me alot of problems, not charging up so i decided i'd just take out the battery and only use ac power instead...problem is, the laptop won't even start without the battery in it and now the battery is totally dead...it's not even charging when i have it inside the laptop and ac power plugged in!
so what should i do??? i would like to use only ac power and not worry abt the battery at all...is that possible?? anybody use their laptop without the battery in it??
PS: it's a toshiba satellite a75-s206 and the battery is a lithium-ion type |

Just buy some cheap second hand battery and put it in, since battery life is not an issue for you.
Now you have two options, use your laptop with that second hand battery, or sell you laptop in second market to buy one new but cheaper laptop. |
