I know absolutley none of you, yet seem close to you all, in one way or another, even at my age 41.
The state where I live is Delawhere. And its boring. Thats why we have places like Philly and NYC to come to for a great party. But tonite, something good has come out of Delawhere. And that is THE LUX LOUNGE. A place where you can be beautiful, happy and loaded!!!!!! Its nice to have a real club setting Delaware; finally.
So, my only hope is that the next time you are passing through this little state of mine, you check it out. I had a really great time there tonite.
Oh and by the way, Im rln and everything on TV is FAKE! to me anyway. |

Philly for a great party????:wtf: I must be missing something. Aside from occasional crumbs we get here, I'd say that Philly ain't your hotbed of clubbing, unless you consider cheesestake-greased up guidos crashing club like Deco (is it still around?) or Soundfactory - I'd say it's nonexistant.
NYC, yes. Washington DC- yes, but not lately.
Also, I dunno why, but somehow it is always weird to hear someone over 30smth appreciates trance enough to go to events. It's almost as if one is re-living the part of youth. Sadly, trance music or EDM in general, is not an "arena" music in US. And no, 1 or 2 events a year does not make EDM "mainstream" or "arena" music. So, that relegates EDM to clubs. And it's alwys weird to see "grown ups" at these parties. Like last time Ferry spun in Crobar, there were these late 50's early 60's folks, very nicely dressed and obviously way out of place. I dunno, it's a bit sad - as I'm fast approaching the "cut-off" age territory when I will feel like I'm too old to be in the club. And it's a shame.
US EDM scene sucks, imho... but I digress. |

Well, I must say you sound older than me. I love trance. I have been in the club scene since I was 21. Please understand that for me its not all the time, mostly it is only for PVD. I know that I'm older and whats nice about it is the fact is that I look 25. Older heads have grown up listening to all kinds of music. I still love Motley Crue. But, at the same time, I love to go to NYC, Philly, Miami and have a great time. And now Delaware. Where I live. I dont think music should have a cut off age, music is for everyone. Including an old fart like me. LOL. By the way, I have never been to Deco, I drove by it once tripping and was laughing so hard I didnt think they would let me in.  |
