[review] Danny Howells @ Avalon

Wow. Havn't seen such a well mixed, well sturctured set of plain old ing good music since Sasha @ ICE. I had more fun dancing to Danny than Sander NYE. Danny just had great set flow, like ridiculously good, no track seemed out of place, and he played alot of "WTF IS THIS TRACK"'s and was going borderline progressive trance by the end of the evening.
Great night, cool to meet some new people (hi tia ;) ) and see the regulars...
Cant wait for Sasha & Zabs! |

| i tried buying a ticket around 6 or 7 last nite over groovetickets and was not able to even though they were supposed to be available til 8pm. so i called avalon and they told me they couldn't sell me a ticket over the phone but to come on down to the box office. so i get off work at 8 and i walk over to avalon and the box office closed. so i talk to the bouncer and he says to come back at 10. so i went to amoeba and came back at 10 and i still couldnt get a ticket so i was over it and went home. i watched the 'lord of war' dvd and smoked a doobie with my puppy. great nite! |

naw, the box office just wasnt open and i was sick of waiting around and i was really tired so i just went home and crashed. from the look of the pictures though, it looks sold out... |

Oh man, I got way to ed last night lol. I saw Danny for about an hour or 2 till Jonathan Neal started on the patio, then I was up there for a few hours. I kept going back and forth between the patio and the main room and Danny was on fire. From what I could tell he stayed away from the electroey house and stayed more prog/tch. It was madness!
Last night was a great night out at Avalon and now I really can't wait for Sasha & Zabs :D |

Last night was just crazy. I really like the set he put on for us. Got me dancing all night for at least 4 hours. Blah too bad I'm going to miss out on Sasha & Zabs. I don't want to go to Mammoth anymore. NooOOOooooOOOooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Avalon was amazing last night. Danny Howells played the pefect set and had me goin for five hours straight. he was dropping one sick song after another. the atmospere at avalon was great last night and i had a blast... hope to see eveyone at Sasha and Zabs. |
