i think ur boss sucks ....he knew for quite a long time im sure that he was going to sell and just to tell it to u like 5 days before he sells ....im not sure it's very legal u should check the laws maybe u can as previously said to paid more !im sorry about that though but yeah i hope u gonna get the bank job !

Lol, in Belgium you need to report this at least a month in advance. Talk to someone who knows the law, I'm pretty sure you can get extra money because of his error.

Yes you're right. He was being rude and dishonest, but while doing this he made a serieus error. Because an employee has a legal period of time that he has to keep working. For example if your boss fires you, you can keep working for 2-3 more weeks (this depends from country to country). Since he's not getting this, I'm pretty sure his boss needs to pay a fine.

employment laws vary state to state, but generally employers have the right to lay you off/fire you with absolutley no notice. in fact large corporations will call you into HR, give you a pink slip, security will escort you to your cubicle to pack your things, and you will be shown the door. sounds cold but thats how its done.
