anybody know any good FREE production software to get my feet wet. If so where can I get it?
Looking to produce a progressive house and trance sound.

First... might wanna try the right forum: Production Studio... READ THE FAQs and you should be just fine.
My suggestion... grab the software demos from Ableton, Reason, and Fruity Loops... those seem to be the most popular with newbies. See which feels most comfortable...
just remember... the learning curve with production is long and tedious, so be patient. |

Get FLStudio 6, its the best in my opinion for production software... but it is fairly complex, just play around in the program, and watch the tutorials that come with it, it also eat processor and ram.
