You think you hate Connex. I really hate Connex. I've just spend the past week talking to Connex and transit police have charged me with "Obtaining Financial Advantage Through Deception" as well as "Making a Journey without Valid Ticket". Connex are a complete bunch of "Call Us Next Tuesday"'s. Due in Magistrates Court now on March 9th. Not very ing happy at all... CVNTS!!!

i love connex i believe they have far surpassed my expectations of what a public transport provider should do regarding customer safety, comfort and reliability. not to mention the wonderful pricing initiatives they have undertaken since they have taken over, who would have thought it possible to have a 100% fare increase in only a couple of years. their ability to run trains on time is amazing and they are a world leader in providing concise and accurate information to passengers on why the service has been delayed or cancelled. there dedication to cleaning up vomit and other bodily functions left on their trains is first rate and the willingness to run free public transport on new years eve is an act of generosity that is not seen that often from a private organisation. the inspectors are kind, courteous and always willing to help a confused passenger, who would have thought that the beloved train conductor could have been superseded by a gangs of thugs. on that note, replacing a human ticket vendor with a machine was pure genius talk about a budget blowout.
no in all honesty i think the privatisation of our public transport system was a boon on melbourne society as a whole. you can bond with your fellow commuters over your joy at arriving at work late and spending half an hour stranded in the city loop. oh connex how could i live without you.
if you cannot tell i am being sacastic you are an &*$@#!!!. well that is my rant for the day. |
