did it get into the charts in the UK though? And it's an alright song, always had a good reaction when i heard it out. |

There's only the odd few within the past few years that i know got into the uk charts
Ferry Corsten - Rock Your Body Rock
Reflekt - Need To Feel Loved
Plummet - Damaged
Seems its mostly all R&B in the uk charts today, and a bit of rock/indie music. I cant even remember the last time there was anything like Dj Sammy, Lasgo or Ian Van Dahl wise in the charts. Although saying that, its probably for the best:tongue2 |

Definitely.
Chart dance music is marginally better than back in 2001/2002.
Some of the cheesier house productions are still pretty fun to hear in a club, whereas the Ian van Dahl / DJ Sammy material was just utterly disgusting. |

Shivers is probably right, before that there was Just Be. Biggest successes in Belgium were Robert Miles - Children and Virtual Zone - Virtual Zone, they took the #1 spot for several weeks. Traffic came close, got to #3 at least. |

Armin Van Buuren's Serenity has been sub-popular for a short period of time here.
I saw Kobee - Endless Thoughts (the vocal mix) on a Belgian tv-channel. Too bad the vocal edit sucks so many balls. It never made any hitlists though.
Furthermore: Timeless (I think it was Timeless) by RvdB has been "popular" on the radio as well. If we go back even further, Rock Your Body by Ferry comes to mind. Also, Benny Benassi's Satisfaction.

A few years ago I even saw Push - The Legacy on television. That freaked me out.
On your average teen parties there's one big super dance hit that's being played _every time_, namely Junk Project - Control. No idea why that is tho.
Every now and then I still hear Delirium - Silence on the radio. Quite a relief between your average gansta' shizzle.
Of course Lasgo, Milk Inc, Sylver and even bag Danzel get airtime quite often here, since they're Belgian.
M.I.K.E., Fred Baker, Estuera,... don't ....
There are more tracks, but these are on top of my mind. I'm rather curious what's being played in other countries. A British friend of mine never heard of Tiesto's Adagio, while it was being hammered all the time over here.
Makes you wish they'd play some decent trance on radio stations every now and then.
Then again, please don't. I quite like it, now trance is getting all underground-y over here.
I would like A State Of Trance being aired on any radiostation though, but noooo. :rolleyes:

Ah yes I forgot to add that, absolutely, this is how you see them in the clubs and big events.
Still better than rnb or hiphop though :) Just put your mind on zero and 'jump' about (thats what the genre is called btw) |
