Yeah, I love the car and I only stalled it once driving home. Im sure Ill see a few more stalls till i find that place wherwe the clutch comes up and the gas goes down, but until then, it's practice practice practice (in light traffic)

yeah starting out is the only semi-difficult thing (at first)

just pratice in a parking lot and remember: WHEN IN DOUBT, GIVE IT MORE GAS

so whenever you feel the car stalling, just give it more gas. 99% of the time, it will work. :toothless

I first learned to drive on an 84 isuzu trooper that was stick and 4-wd. Try that on for size, that thing was a bitch, worst god damn transmission evar! I ended up getting a 96 honda prelude (automatic), that's what I have now. I can't stand that damn car. It's 10 years old, the shocks are starting to go to , i need new cv boots in the front. I graduate from uni in about 4 months so I'm just gonna wait and get a new car. But secretly, every day, I pray that a peice of building falls on my car and I can just get a new one right now :p

Is it insured? I should don a ski mask and smash it with a sledge hammer when you're over, and you can get a new one :D

wtf kinda car is an eagle talon?

learned to drive on an 86 Mazda 323 hatch back, POS but thats how i learned

first car i owned

1998 F-350 super duty manual - the king of manual trucks
now since im poor
1989 Mazda MX-6 turbo 5-sp Manual

i wont ever buy an automatic. i hate driving them, i almost killed myself this summer driving my parents van, going down the street comming up to a stop sign, hadnt put my seatbelt on yet. went to push the clutch down to coast to the stop sign with my left foot.

Problem - no clutch in automatic mini van
Problem - clutch turned out to be the brake pedal
Problem - pushed it right to the floor, introduced my face to steering wheel

Solution - broke my nose doing 40 km/h in a residential zone with my neighboors looking on. they laughed at me histerically for weeks after that

since hten i have sworn to god never to drive a POS automatic again.

Yeah it's insured...but not by survival. You might wanna hold off on that :wtf:

Plus all that would do is make it so that my car will get repaired. If you could steal it, drive it off a cliff and send it to dusty firey hell...that would be fantastic :D

and they had a piece of turbo that had a dry lubed bearing in it that squealed like a pig after about 2 years. my buddy had one, that and they transmission was about as smooth as a 1990 ford probe.. helluva knock going into second gear.
