what do you use for your tan? i use bass or harps but i wanna try it with newcastle...

| I've had it with bass, which is yummy. Newcastle may be too heavy for a black and tan, I dunno, but sounds like something worth trying. |

| i've gotten in a few arguments about what a black and tan is supposed to be and i was always the one saying that u can use any beer combo u want obviously as long as one is dark. i always thought it could be yuengling and bass or guiness and yuengling...but the guys who i argued with always swore that a black and tan is ONLY guiness and bass. |

a 'traditional' black and tan is guinness and harps. thats the way it was invented. but you can use whatever you want. it tastes like if you dont use guinness though:p |
