What's wrong with Guitar Center? It has been my experience that Guitar Center has been the best place to get a deal made.
By the way what monitors are you looking at?
I purchased the M-Audio BX8a's and all I can say is it was the best $350 I ever spent! These things are amazing and my guy at Guitar Center sold them to me at $350, the lowest anywhere else was $499.
Take a look into the M-Audio's there is definately not anything in the price range that is even comparable. |

i got a n00b question
is thre a HUGE difference between running my dj setup through my hi-fi stereo than through monitors and an amp?
my reciever is a technics 500 watt
and my speakers are technics...2x15", 2x6", 2x3"
it sounds fine to me but i was just wondering if there was a major difference |

i guess i have to try a different branch. i just didnt like the selection they had there on display, or maybe i was just having a bad day and not liking anything.
that is a good deal you got but thats just cauase hes your friend. do you guys know which branch they have the most monitors/dj items on display for testing? |

You are right, their display was screwed up. I had to grab monitors from another area and hook them up myself to hear them. But, I guess that's the deal over there.
Check Sam Ash out and when you find what you want let me know and I'll send you up to my guy and have him hook you up. |

thanks man. btw how you like the m audio you got? whats its pros and cons? is it too bassy or what? |
