This deal is just too hard to pass up. I talked to one of the sales reps and he guaranteed that it would be shipped in 24 hours. It just does not come with the battery or charger (big deal.) What do you guys think?

Stores like this will sell you the camera dirt cheap, but what they will do is call you and harass you to buy the warranties and accessories. And if they dont make a certain amount of money off of you in profit through accessories and warranties, a couple days later they will call you and tell you that the item is backordered for 2 weeks, and keep you in their system until the cost for them to buy the item would make enough pr to sell you the camera - while you wait, they will sell off what they got to the suckers.

Newegg has better customer service and good return policies.

newegg and zipzoomfly are my most trusted sources, not to mention blazing fast shipping

*sometimes even 1 day shipping*

They both rock, but I've found Newegg to be a little more customer service oriented.

I ordered some new RAM from zipzoomfly less than two months ago and after four days of checking my tracking info (which was still showing up as "pending") I decided to call them. After finally getting through to someone, they told me it was on backorder. I would have ordered it from Newegg first but Zipzoomfly's price was like $10 less and they had the free shipping. By the time I got my refund Newegg was also sold out. Grrrrrr! I finally got my RAM - but it came from Mwave.com, the only online seller that had it at that moment. I used to only buy from Newegg or Zipzoomfly but have been comparison shopping between all three companies since that particular incident occurred.

Friday two weeks ago I bought two new Western Digital WD3200KS (320GB 16MB cache SATA II) hard drives from zipzoomfly (I called first to make sure they were in stock) and they arrived Monday afternoon. I only paid $148 for each drive and if you look on Newegg they're now selling them for like $165 each - so I definitely got a deal. Now if only those new 150GB Raptors would come down in price! :whip: :)

why on earth would you want to buy raptors right after the 2 320gb disks? do you have some raid array going on and some reason to have all that storage? seriously what are you doing over there? crawling the entire internet?

I have two computers on a small network. I also just got rid of my old 74GB Raptor and am already missing it!

With my C:\ drive fully optimized with BootVis my startup time is still slow compared to what it was with that Raptor. ;)

Having over 500GB of live sets alone takes up a lot of disk space!

Yeah, I know it's overkill - but so is running my Pentium 4 at over 4GHz. :D

i hate my p4, you want to buy it?
i'd actually sell my whole system for a pretty decent price if you are serious about it lols.

specs
silverstone temjin windtunnel full atx case black
thermaltake silentpure 500watt PSU (not sure 500 maybe more)
1 GIG OCZ Low Latency Ram (don't know cas off hand)
Western Digital 2x80gb SATA Striped
WD 200gb IDE storage
Creative Audigy 2ZS Plat Pro
ATI AIW 9600
Intel P4 3.0e Prescott
Abit AI7 Mobo
Silverstone Eudomon LCD Temp Display

I have an X2 running and an old Athalon XP doing all the dvd burning stuff but my p4 is my main machine and I'm not too fond of it...

BTW, I have 3 computers, 1 laptop, soon to be powerbook in a full networked apartment. Fully networked, sound and video integrated on a sony xbrone 40" lcd and sony 7.1 hts in a studio lol so i'd definitely be relieved if i got rid of this machine. free up some cash, free up some space, free up some electricity, free up some net bandwidth.

Sure I go out, but I've also been downloading EDM live sets since like 1997. :tongue2

I actually have most of it backed up on DVD - so yeah, it is just a little bit redundant.

In my old computer...

1 x 120GB WD Caviar
1 x 320GB WD Caviar
2 x 250GB WD Caviar

Yes, I'm really just a big fan of Western Digital! That's my reasoning.
:p
