As of right now Markus is only playing at the armada night... How about having him at some pool parties or a festival or something. I know promotors browse these boards. It's nuts that the people who can make it happen don't realize how much demand is out there to see the man. Especially here in Miami! He's recognized everywhere else in the world but not here...

Is he really still in that high of demand?
I personally think he's fallen off quite a bit in the last 6-12 months, but it's just my opinion, for some reason, and I just don't see that high of a demand for this guy right now...
I suppose the Miami scene probably has more than the average amount of love for MS though... |

I believe he could sell out a club during WMC easily if promoted properly. It's not just the Miami crowd (which doesn't get to see him enough), it would also be all the out of towners.

Markus is desired all over the place. He's taking the world by storm! On a global scale, Markus is making such a name for himself in the dance industry. I know for example that when I saw him in December in Amsterdam, all these Armin groupies who like him because they see him on tv came out and left saying "Armin was good, but that Markus guy! WOW amazing"... Say what you want about McProg but Markus' sound is unique. They may try to imitate but they can't duplicate it!

Markus never plays in Miami so that would be negative, Miami doesnt show markus the love he deserves. I guess that's what happens when you spin in a place as a local and then when you go global, they still want to pay you as a local and book you as an opener. It's ridiculous!
However, if there is any time that promotors should be thinking about what will bring in both locals and out of towners it's conference... and trust me that markus will draw a crowd! :) |

i'de say that maybe only 25% (propable less then that) of the line-ups for parties have been announced. and some of those parties aren't even full line-ups. give the promoters some time to reveal the full line-up. i'm pretty damn positive he'll play somewhere another night/day. promoters like to keep things hidden in the dark for a few very good reasons. 1)they want to make it 100% confirmed 2)it keeps everyone excited about who it might be and keeps people talking about the parties. its a pretty damn good move b/c it works. so just sit tight. its still early in the game. we just moved into feb. give it a few more weeks and your gonna see things popping up like CRAZY |
