LSD is an incredibly subjective and contextual drug and experiences on it will vary greatly from individual to individual based on an almost infinite amount of variables. To say that there are any real "truths" to the specifics of affect and especially the specifics of the post-lsd psyche would be virtually impossible. This isn't to say at all that your first post doesn't have some truth to it, and may even be completely true for a specific instance, however, to assert that this reaction defines what it is to take lsd would be quite wrong. |

I believe it's not an acid actually. More like a base... NaOH or something |

Is their anyway to know how will it effect me (as an individual) ? Any tests or something?
I mean alchohol is known to get skinny people high very soon, and fat guys can have more... is that same with body's resistance to drugs and its effect?

No, that's why you need to educate yourself to the risks/benefits and on responsible consumption before trying any kind of psychotropic, http://www.erowid.org is a good start, but not the end-all-be-all of knowledge. Go there, read, research, talk with friends and others who've tried it, and then make the decision.

For some drugs, not to others. The specifics are, again, subjective depending on what you're taking, purity, body size, tolerance, etc. and so on.
There's a wealth of information out there, I highly recommend being as educated as possible before you make a decision on whether or not to dose... LSD can be fun, as long as you're careful and you don't overdo it. |

Er, possibly. LSD does make you think in a markedly different way and there are times when you feel as though you've had an "epiphany" of sorts, but looking back you realise that it was just the influence of the drug and that what you were thinking was actually a complete load of bollocks. The trouble is that many see these "epiphanies" as some sort of transcendent state in which you are looking at a reality beyond reality (i.e. that the drug gives you some legitimate power of perception beyond that of "sober" perception) rather than just taking the experience for what it is at face value - that is, some distorted form of reality brought about by intoxication.
LSD can teach us things about the way the mind works and about the way the world appears to us in "sober" life, but if you can't recognise that experiences felt under the influence of LSD are - at base - a drug-induced hallucination, then yes: I could see how you might come to "base your entire life around so-called "values" you supposedly develop from being under LSD's influence". |

You know its Ok with me if I think that way when I am under influence.
But its said that after some amount of doses you generally start to think that way even when you are sober. |

You're talking about a lot of doses.
My experiences with LSD are well documented, especially here on TA, and even after the amount of doses I've had run through me, I'm still (relatively) normal... :haha: |

LSD changed my life, and is my all time favourite drug.
I can say though that only about 1% of the drug taking populace should even be doing it, as you need to be very centred and balanced for it not to mess you up.
And I am speaking from having well over 700 doses over 8 years.
It's a hell of a ride, that's for sure! :D |
