I recently found the 2CD copy, its ing fannnnnnntastic. Its amazing how Sasha and Digweed could create journeys out of nothing. Anyone agree or disagree with this?

the 2xcd is the original uk/australian release.... the 1xcd is the CRAP US ultra release.

2xcd all the way!
keithos27
oh yeah... and it was released in 1996... so that's 10 years ago!

one of the best cd compilations out there.

andy,

check out northern exposure 2 when you're done... the uk version is the 2xcd but the us version was split into 2 1xcd releases (east coast & west coast editions) but they are the same...
Omega_Blue
both northern exposure 1 & 2 (east coast) are classics.. I love the old school breaks sound of that era... :(

one of my favorite tracks of NE1 is keiichi suzuki - satellite serenade :D
Spartan
Ultraviolet - Kites

def. my favorite track on the album

I also enjoyed NE 2 (east coast), although the first track by Gus Gus just doesn't work for me. Too much religion.

Listened to it more carefully some time ago and it totally changed my thoughts about Sasha & John Digweed...
Both NE and NE - Expeditions are fabulous. Haven't heard NE2 yet.
