Hope You'll enjoy this one.
Please don't use presets, cause i haven't done any mastering yet, thus there might be some problems with the beat ;). And I also forget to delete some samples from 4.38 :)
Every feedback will be highly appreciated.

Hey,
I think you need a more "stable" bass, dont know how to describe it better. I think it needs some boost in the 100-200Hz area. Maybe some compression on it will help. If it gets fuller, it will improve the drive to the track.
Maybe you could make your midrange in the spectrum a little fuller by boosting the melody synths a little, and you could try to add some pads. There could still be more layers I think.
Otherwise, this sounds not bad. Keep it up :) |

This got atmosphere, but it would be a much stronger feeling if you add some more pads or strings.
I think that you could work on the guitar, don't know how to explain it, but it's got too little middle frequences imo.
Melodies and arrangement is great, I would really like you to work some more on this. :toocool:
Keep it up!

Hi,
I concur about the midle end, it's sounds a bit empty, nothing than a good low and midle pads cannot fix :).
Also I concur with speactra about the bass, I would play making octaves with it ;).
Soudns pretty nice, looking forward for the final version ;).

First of all, thanks a lot for your comments and feedback.
Yeah, Pads and strings is probably the biggest problem for me, so this question will be open forever. If you can advise me something concerns this problem i would really appreciate it.
As concerns bass, cybernetica was actually right. there is kind of gap between the track itselfs and the bass. So I've put some compression on it, and please check it out. Is it better or worse that it was in SUP2-V4-4-0.mp3?

Once again, thanks for a feedback. ;) |

The kick has a bit too much click, IMO.
One of your synths is clicking every 2nd and 4th beat in the breakdown, but only on one particular note. Play with its envelope and get rid of that.
I like this track, though. I agree it could probably use a bit more mid-range in the form of pads, though. |

thoughtlessjex is right about the kick, if yo've added a compressor, then maybe lower the attack.
The bass sounds better now imo.
Keep on working. Experiment with pads & strings. I'm sure it sounds good.
Seing forward to the final version. :tongue2 |

thanks for these 2 reviews, they were very usefull.
what concerns kick, i've reduced some bass from it, but still thinking about its' clickliness :) cause i'm kind of fan of paul van dyk's beat.
as concerns synths that is clicking every 2nd and 4th beat in the breakdown, i've already reduce it on 90%, will be working on other 10% :)
and as concerns strings and pads, just increased the volume of the one i already have there, and experimenting with others, like it was suggested by speactra. As soon as will find something interesting will post another sample.
Still would like to hear some opinions on sample with new bass that i share 3 post ago. Thanks in advance ;) |

Great introduction of elements and bass. Kick is too loud by a touch.
The start and stop works very well in this track without losing the vibe. Nice job.
More sub is needed in this track.
I really enjoy your style of adding elements and removing elements. Very cool.
The problem in the track so far as of 5:06 is that the engineering is all wrong. The levels are off, the EQ and compression are not good on the important elements and detract from their sound. The entire track is relying on the bassline, which has no sub, though the mid bassline itself is good.
So the track has basically gone nowhere as of 4:50. I still here that bass and that arp, which does not constitute a melody, so it's hard to keep interest.
New melody comes in at 5:00, then the track ends.
Keep at it, thanks for sharing. Hope this helped. |
