We're back for the third guest mix of the series and this time we call Mike Redina to the decks.
Having started his DJing career in 1996 on the London techno scene, Mike has since played in London, Greece and then Brazil where he stayed for over a year in 2001. He was invited back in 2005 where he joined one of the most influential DJ agencies in Brazil, Water Republic. This led to an incredible seven month tour around South America, playing at fashion shows, radio stations, raves and clubs like Manga Rosa, D Edge, Lov.e and Mundo Mix to name but a few.
Mike is now a member of the Nrgflow collective and frequently works in the studio alongside artists from Museum of Techno, with releases planned for 2006 on both the Museum of Techno and Nrgflow Recordings labels. His trademark sound encompasses house, techno and electro among other styles.
The guest mix Mike has done for us is a groovy blend of tech and electro house featuring exclusive tracks from the Nrgflow label. With plenty of dirty beats and basslines to keep you entertained for a full hour, don't even think about turning it off, just turn it up!
For more info or to contact Mike, visit www.nrgflow.co.uk.

No reason really, just because a couple of those tracks have been beaten to death by now. |

Yeah I know obviously tracks like We Interupt and Rocker have been played all over the place for a while now and a few of the other tracks will be particularly well known among the tech house fans, but these guest mixes aren't about showing off totally upfront & exclusive tracks, they're just about giving a bit of well-deserved exposure to some particularly good DJs and giving people something cool to listen to, hopefully also persuading some people to listen to something they wouldn't usually :) |
