Comment: Don't let the first couple posts fool you. This is no Israel vs. Palestine thread. If I were to imagine a deathmatch between Plato vs. Aristotle in the octagon, this would the closest thing I've seen. If ever a thread were to justify the warning given before entering this forum: "Enter with caution & a dictionary" it would be this debate. Marvel as Tathi and Arbiter throw down the gloves...

Comment: It starts off as a thread about evolution, but in retrospect it doesn't hold a candle compared to the Heinz/WoahNellie/Opus threads. IMO, the meat of it begins when it starts delving into the philosophy of a higher power, religion, and the kitchen sink. You know it's a good thread when it starts going into astronomy and phsyics. Feel free to doubt me, but just listen to the rave reviews from the fondly remembered, dearly departed DJBARON: "this is the BEST DISCUSSION I'VE SEEN EVER ON THIS BOARD!!! AMAZING!!!!!! FINALLY TRUE INTELLECTUALISM UNFOLDS!!!!!!!!!" Need I say more? |

If you'd read the portion of the transcript I posted you'd see that it's not a 9/11 video. It was filmed in the 80's I think. ;) |
