The 2006 C0R-Whore Off: Final Round (pg. 4)

Oh man... come on kids, it's all in good fun here...

The whore off is about the absurdity of the existence of a competition like the whore off itself, and the point for the competitors seems to have been how many people can you whore votes out of, which, IMO, is pretty damn whore like and is pretty much the spirit of this competition...

But when it comes down to it, I mean s sake, we're not picking anyone to represent anything here... Isn't the point of this whole thing that it is meaningless? I mean that's why I find it entertaining... None of us did anything to earn anything, and yet we're still competing, and for what? Nothing. It's absurd, and that's why it's fun...

It's a c0r thread... everyone should be used to this by now... so let's just have some fun and all agree to shun and make fun of the person who wins for at least a week following his/her victory...

Also, lets find an excuse to post sketchy pics of ta's... One in particular comes to mind... ;)

IPs are easily changed, and in the end, I dont care who votes, though I do appreciate the page views.

It's just meant for something fun, and getting to the final four is pretty nice. Like I said before, youve done well throughout the whore-off but where were you all year?
lol tribu

<3 Props on the entire COR-Whore off. They way u made it this year was done extremely well :D

Exactly, though I still would argue that people chose who they are going to vote for by which participant most embodies what the c0r is to them. That said, it's not like we're choosing a representitive to the UN here...it's just something to keep this place entertaining.

I was going to write basically the same thing, but you saved me. I couldn't agree more; who cares who won where? We all went into this for fun, and now look at this thread.

The poll means nothing and in all honesty, throughout 2005 I can't recall anyone mentioning Boomer's win in last year's poll, aside from the rare joke at it in a few threads. People forget, and we'll move on no matter who wins.

It's not worth fighting over. Yebus.

Man I really didn't realize what lengths some folks went to to get votes... My pic in my signatar didn't even link to the whore off... :(

I suck at whoring myself...

i'm really glad that made sense to someone... I just smoked my "pre-last class for the week" bowl and I am in' retarded right now... that didn't even make sense to me when I wrote it... :wtf:

Thanks for the compliments :)

What I mean by half-serious is that i try to treat this like a serious project. Though building the designs is quick work, I usually spent some time trying to design interfaces that would be easily used and small in size, because I know alot of people hate flash. This project also helped me land a couple small jobs making flash apps for local businesses...Ill link you guys if you're interested. Scripting took probably the most work, but in all it provides me with a gague in where I am, skill-wise (probably a 4 out of 10)

As for the music, I've been struggling to find something good for the round, but i couldn't find anything that really hit me. The song (nanou2) has been my test song for much of the project, so I just decided to go with it. If I find anything good in the meantime, Ill change it back.

Oh yeah, that reminds me...if anyone needs flash app design or programming, im avaliable for cheap :p
