not many. and none are probably worth it.
the thing about a subwoofer is that if it is not tight, its not worth it.
a lot of subwoofers can push out decent base, but at that price point, they will all be boomy, not tight.
when people talk aboyt subs being tight, that means they are musical. boomy subs are better for home theater.
the reason subs get expensive is that they need to punch and recover quickly for music. this way they are ready for the next note. if they cant, they are worthless.
i have a lot of doubts that this sub would meet your needs.
you may want to build one yourself for a few dollars more. |

If your going to build a sub yourself you need the knowhow.
You got get the box size and shape just right if you want the suspension to be tight.
CosmoKid's point about it being tight for music could not be more true.
Nothing pisses me off more when people think they have a sub in there car or dj setup that is "the bomb!" when all it does is vibrate like a motha f*ka n destroy the songs bassline.
I cant remember where it was but i remember reading a very in depth look of the the acoustics of a subwoofer box/setup.
So search for that and instead of buying some box and putting the sub in that you could make ur own!
I was thinking of doing it but i have been too lazy to do so. |

| this sub is really ing loud and boomy i agree with cosmo, would be sick sick sick for a home theatre or maybe a huuge studio room (20x40 at least) but not for the regular bedroom studio |

Behringer gives your good bang for your buck.
True they are not the best but they are definitly good for there price.
People are so quick to hate behringer.
Ofcourse if you running i prosetup thats semi-permanent in a club you would use behringer but for someone doing houseparties why the hell not? Great value.
Except for the dj stuff, kinda scares me, like it will stop working all of a sudden. |

Djing is about making people on the dancefloor enjoy the music and have a good time, it's better to be out playing records on belt drives letting people have a good time than to be sat in your bedroom chugging over direct drives, same goes with all dj equipment, low class, but people having fun is better than high class and being a loser |

| Of course if you've got the gear and the skills to match them, power to you you deserve it. |
