Here are a few more I try to always keep in mind whenever possible/reasonable:
- People are stupid - they can be made to believe any lie, either because they want it to be true or because they fear that it is.
- The greatest harm can result from the best intentions.
- Passion rules reason.
- There is magic in forgiveness - magic to heal in forgiveness you grant, and more so in the forgiveness you receive.
- Mind what people do, not only what they say, for deeds will betray a lie.
- The only sovereign you can allow to rule you is reason.
- Life is the future, not the past.

AHHH i'm such a FIRM believer in this! its just such a BAD IDEA... ppl don't seem to get it... it makes things sooo complicated...and you'd never get away from that person...
i mean yeah you can love someone to death.. but sometimes.. you just have to have some time to yourself or to spend with other ppl

Yes and the reality is we all learn the hard way. Things were great for me when things were great with her. But when it all turned to it was very difficult to be at work and took us a very long time to be cool with each other again.

Even though much of this is Cliche and when it comes down to it we may say one thing and do the next cause "Passion rules reason".

- LIVE LIFE IN THE PRESENT (not the future or the past)
- TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO GROW, LOVE AND BE HAPPY
