I've noted to my friends that this would be akin to some ****** in the 17th century who fooled around on a parlour piano suing Bach for using a C major chord.

That guy suing is definitely a prick... $10 million dollars over a 1 bar loop... jesus christ thats the most ridiculous thing ive heard. I wonder what song it was? You are right, but unlike the 17th century, BT cant resolve this issue with pistols at dawn.

^ You hear about that all the time. People suing people over everything. Fat people suing McDonalds for being fat, people suing some chips company because they swallowed the toy that's inside, people suing Starbucks because their ing coffee is hot.
