Hey!
I've been pounding it out on the softsynths and I have yet been able to create a solid rolling electro house bassline such as axwell or sebastian ingrosso's styles. After hours upon hours of synthesizing, i have come up with nothing. If anyone has any ideas on how to make a solid electrohouse bassline patch, that would be awesome
cheers,

most of their basslines sounds like a single saw with the freq all the way up. Could be an idea to sidechain the bass with the kick as the bass tends to be kinda dominant and loud in their tunes. |

I think its two layers of a saw. One low saw, and one high saw (both have the same notes i think), with distortion on the high saw I think.
The low saw has a low pass filter, the high saw a high pass filter |

, I was thinking about asking the same question few days ago!!! w00t! I tried experimenting with Virus TI and came up with pretty aggressive patch but nowhere near. Even afer compressing and distorting it, it still wasn't quite as "in your face" like the bassline in "Breathe".
p.s. great minds think alike, respect!:D |

actuallly it could sound much better.. it was just a test which i made in 15 minutes. but the synths used here are for the bassline: trilogy and virus for the sidechained chords.. som some drums fired by battery.. that's it. |
