I have a can of compressed air next to my tables, so when my record is dusty I spray literally for 3 seconds and its clean :)

OMG... GREAT IDEA! I never thought of that... like really... how do you spray it? like top down or with the "grain" of the vinyl?

I might use that on my machine!
Djshortcircuit
What do you think of...

A machine that you place the record in, apply any solution that you want to use, spin it around with a cleaner like cloth / brush then to cap it off, spray with air...

please! give me feedback...!
Danila
sounds good and everything. When you build it, make sure to send me one =)))

I would hold the vinyl vertically and go around in circles.

Posted in another thread "mix your own record cleaning fluid"... http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/fluids.html (Keep in mind that these are all alcohol-based and should never be used on shellac-based 78s)

Hey, Here is something more about vinyl records...

If you could combine it so it also dewarps the vinyl. Even slight warps/waves, not just major warps. might be getting a tad complicated now though

I wish I could do that... I've been trying to think of a way to do it because i have the same problem... you know the records all warped and when you go to cue, your needle pops off, screwing you up... sucks right?

I think the only way to do this would be to heat the vinyl a little but thats a little to difficult, I think it would damage the record more then help it...

But I'll try to think of some more ideas...

If anyone has anymore, leave some...

i learned this little trick from watching oakenfold...

when dj'ing, wear long sleeves so you can wipe down the record with your elbow...IT WORKS!
