Question about voltage

Hi, I'm coming from New York to goto Trance Energy (2nd time!), and I have a voltage converter so I can use all my 110v electronics. What I was wondering, does anyone know if it's safe to plug a power strip / surge protector into one of those, or should I bring a few converters?

You can buy them at Amsterdam Airport and otherwise easily in some electronic shop in Amsterdam City Centre.

Hey thanks, but it's not a question about buying them, it's whether or not I can plug a power strip (to have multiple outlets) into one of them.

you can, but don't overdo it. if yr in a hotel, you have abt 12 amps for a room (wild guess, houses have 32 or 25 amps)

so you can calculate your poweruse. for a couple o' laptop's your safe, but do not bring a 2 kilowatt amplifier :D

i think yr converter is the bottleneck, come to think of it. check its secondary poweroulet for max ampdrainage (or whatever you call that..) . (on the 220V side)

shouldn't be much (unless you have a top notch converter, but they're expensive :()

Thanks a lot everyone, I'm not going to be plugging in anything crazy, just a few cell phones, and digital cameras, and one laptop.

Appreciated the help!
