4 Cybernetika Tracks from the FOEM competition (192kbps, full)

Hey guys,
after the tournament of FOEM (www.foem.info) is over, I think I can show the tracks I made there to you now. I reached the final round and it was great fun to me :) ... The task sounds kinda simple: Make a track that fits the title.
So here are the tracks I made:
Dark Water
In the first round, I had to work with the topic "dark water". My opponent was Sundrop, whom I defeated in a very close battle. This one is a quite melodic, short track of Psy.

Plastic World
Here I had to face rosa_creutz, who unfortunately wasnt able to finish his track. Anyway, this track I feel very content with. Its a little slower, and a very trippy and groovy Psychedelic track, with highly melodic content.

Desert Secret
My semi-final round was against ChrisAlex, who chose a hardtechno approach to the given topic. I however tried something different, a very atmospheric 3/4 track with guitars in oriental scales.

Deepest Landscape
In the semi final I defeated ChrisAlex in a very close and exciting battle and I reached the final round vs Alygos. I lost this round vs him 0-4 and he absolutely deserves the win. Congrats mate!
My approach to this title was a slow and very deep (huh) track with a very dark atmosphere. It doesnt sound like something you would expect from me, but this tournament definately was a great field for experimentation :)

cool thread dude, i liked dark water the most :D, it was .. watery ;).
for plastic world i would have done some euro just for the fun of it and enoying everyone :P.

I like all of this stuff, man. It's nice to hear you trying out some new things. For all your skill within psychedelic, there's always the chance for you to try new genres.
Before you know it, you'll be making some tight supersaw epic trance anthems. :haha: |

desert secret - nice effect...
plastic world - some very wicked percussive elements and originality. I think it lacks some energy due to new melodic elements not coming in fast enough, but overall a nicely produced track with some very interesting sounds
dark water - basslineX2, i like the background bass sound that comes in once every bar, also the unique synth fx
depest landscape - dark melodies and a very suiting title... i like the bassline structures, and pad layering.
