Managed to get this accepted on TA Unite 4, so here's the full song in case anyone wants to listen :D.
Started late 2005, finished '06 ;).
Went for a sort of psytrancy feel to it, but I'm not sure if it qualifies for that at all...
Here is the full, I don't think its worth bothering labels with :D

Hey Ricky!
Why did you call it uzi? Before i thought about the name this was making a feeling about the 1930's in some way, then I thought about casinos.
When I'd finnished listening to the tune it was clear. It was the mafia I thought about. Is that the reason you named it uzi.
Anyways, I like it very much. It's special, original.
Maybe not psytrance but it's good!

thanks speactra, the original had scarface samples in it, so thats where i got the name from. I lost the samples however, so this version does without :(.

yeah, definetly has a psytance touch too it
like the bass and percs
don't like the sound (pluck?) at 1:22
nice 303 ish sound in the break, nice atmosphere too
sounds really nice after the break, nice full sound
not really my style but is a good production. ;) |

Very obvious psy influences. Sounds kinda morning psy-ish.
This synth piano reminds me of my track, Shaka. Very housy, in a way, but since it's the same thing over and over again, It gives a very trancy feel too. Very nice.
Acid at 3:26 is nice, although I think it could use some more meat. It's kinda thin right now.
Very nice melody. Very dark feel to this track, which I like a lot. |

Hey Ricky, like what you have done with the tune as of late. The track really picked up past the breakdown, the 303 lead work you did sounds great and the track definately has the psy-ish edge. Sounded good in the TA unite cd as well!

you sure is clean aint ya!
the track sounds very rapid fire like an uzi. i wish the kick was slightly less psy style. just so its more bangin:)
break - continues the psy sound to the full.
main part pines for a big kick. i imagine this workin really well in a psy rave in the woods or in an abandoned bunker!
