Dude...funny you say that, since they're playing exactly the same !

Sasha dropped that Flow - Truth And Sunshine track in his Annie Nightingale mix, hes been playing Afetrmath ALOT, and hes played practically every track Diggers drops in that video. Digweed does get very...very...dark and nasty when hes inthat mode though. Its scary :eyespop:

Depends on taste really for most of the years, but I'd argue that Sasha was without a doubt superior from 97-00. Digweed was more erratic in those years, going between really trancy numbers like Avenue and darker progressive house; his sound seemed to lack coherence. Sasha, on the other hand, was in his progressive trance prime though GU013.

Before 97, I'd err to say that Digweed was better. Both played progressive/epic house, but Digweed carried a smoother overall feel.

After 2000, depends on taste entirely. Both were pretty well on in their own styles through 2003. Then I think Sasha had the upper hand for a year or so, until Ableton took him places far, far away. Digweed decisively recaptured the dancefloor in 2005.

i agree. Digweed's had a time when he played decent sets, even when sasha was playing oldskool stuff in the early 90s, there were better dj's than him in track selection imo, eg carl cox, top buzz, ratpack & slipmatt.
