Put together this little 45 minute set yesterday, turned out well. It has a Progressive Trance feel to it, so if you're looking for great background music, then this is what you need. Works well while doing schoolwork, I find. Without further ado:
01. Kenneth Thomas and Mike Skye - Varekai (Main Mix)
02. Gabriel and Dresden - Serendipity
03. Peter Martin pres. Anthanasia - Simply Slue (Armin van Buuren Edit)
04. Matthew Dekay vs Proluctors - Deep Show (Original Mix)
05. Mode Hookers - Breathe (Sander van Doorn Remix)
06. The Drill - The Drill (Original Mix)

| Pretty good set, when I see one with The Drill in it I have to download it. Keep it up. |

| Thanks! Had some friends say that I should have continued the set, as the energy was building up......guess I shouldn't have stopped at THE DRILL then, whoops.......... |

Track selection is good... mixing is nice and tight... couple areas where the volume begins to peak/distort, but it's not too bad...
here's one of my pet peaves (and it's more of an issue with the product, not the DJ)... sets that are done using Final Scratch......... there's something about the product that creates a high pitched whine in the background. For me, that sound gets far too annoying for me to handle to be able to listen to an entire set recorded this way. As a DJ and audiophile myself, there's no way I could ever use a product that is so inconsistent at delivering perfect audio quality.
But like I said... nothing against you or the skills here... just a pet peave ;) |

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, you can hear it right at the start and at certains spots during the entire set. Really irritating for a product I've paid so much for. Wondering if FS 2 fixed the issue?
I'll have to look into possible solutions....
Can you hear it throughout the entire set? If so , WOW, quite the pair of ears you've got there....haha
Thanks for the input on the set, really appreciate the words... |

Well there are parts when it's drowned out with specific levels and frequencies... but yeah, I can hear it through about 75% of the set... I think it's also because once I hear something like that it's ALL I can focus on... hehe. Honestly, I doubt most people would hear it... but I listen to a LOT of demos from up n comers, so I'm used to listening for things like that :p |
