TRANCE NATION 22 – OUT IN FEB. 2006!

Trance Nation is Germany’s oldest dance compilation series at all (since more than 12 years now!) and also the most successful German mix album of the Trance and Progressive scene. The latest edition “Trance Nation 22“ shows again, why this series enjoys such a good reputation, as it is always more than up-to-date. The package contains three CDs with mostly unreleased tracks and remixes of the biggest stars of the scene.

The dj and producer team Heller & Enkie is responsible for the Trance Nation project including the CDs and the events. They play all around Europe since several years, they were booked for the mainfloor of Nature One, for example, which is Germany’s biggest festival with 60.000 people. They also host their own “Trance Nation Floor” at this festival – last time with artists like Andrew Bennett, Markus Schulz, Harry Lemon, Alex M.O.R.P.H. and several others. Heller & Enkie are the owners of Supra Recordings, one of Germany’s hottest labels. And they are known for their great remixes, like for Nalin & Kane or Gadjo.
It’s always up to Heller & Enkie to present one of two dj mixes of the Trance Nation CD.

Guest DJ on CD 1 is DJ and producer Misja Helsloot this time. He is one of the biggest Trance Heroes and beside of Tiesto and Armin van Buuren one of the biggest exports out of the Netherlands. He is well-known for several big tunes and awesome remixes. And he is the owner of Gesture Music, definitely one of the hottest Dutch labels.

Special: CD 3 includes some of the biggest and hottest tunes as complete maxi versions – not mixed!

Please don't judge this CD with the eyes of an "international trance listener" .

I guess this CD is mainly produced for the german market.

And over here most people associate "trance music" with this cheesy hands-up-stuff that is produced by guys like Rocco, Pulsedriver, Special D or Klubbingman.

Parties where these guys are booked are always advertised as "trance events" and their productions are put on cds that call themselves "Trance so-and-so" .

The "real" trance scene in Germany is very small and dispersed all over the country.

We only have few trance parties and not many "real" trance compilations.

Please keep all this in mind when you judge the work of Heller & Enkie.

Instead of going the easy way and booking popular DJs for the guest mix the chose guys that are well known to tranceaddicts but totally unknown in Germany. It's a big risk for them, but there attention is to bring good trance music to Germany. Unfortunately they are very lonely on this mission :(

So for german standars the TN-Series is AWESOME.

i like the tracklisting on CD1. Misja Helsloot is good. :) should be worth a listen.

Misja is always quality and there are some tracks that look interesting and more importantly new on that compilation. Some how he always finds great trancers no matter how much it seems like the scene is dieing.

It's always easy to critisize something - but I am nearly sure, you do not know a lot of the tracks in our mix and also in Misja's. I can be as sure, because they are not released and even promoted, yet! ;) So how can you judge without knowing? :stongue: Less than 1/3 of the tracks were released already, but even these tracks are definitely still up-to-date and played by all DJs worldwide. Some other tracks are coming soon and were promoted already - but if you are not an illegal downloader (...what I expect ;)...), you definitely cannot have them already! :D

Thanks mate! :D
But that was not neccessary... There are enough people all around the world (not only in Germany), who really like Trance Nation. Or why does it get a full release in USA, Canada, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Baltic States, Russia, Ukraine... and so may other territories? :D
