i wouldn't exactly classify Wruhme, Dalessandro, and especially Babicz and Villalobos as unknowns, although i never heard of any of the other names

What's wrong with a list of unknowns?

Cd looks decent, wouldn't pay money for it tho.

Well I know the majority of them producers on that tracklist and I doubt I'm the only one either. If it's not your type of music fair enough but then why the need to comment? :conf:

I can only comment on music I like? I just think alot of people get so hyped up about the fabric series when they really don't know much about it (not accusing anyone in particular).

Ok, for the Fabric series, it just seems like an excuse to produce a CD in a tin and stick a lot of electronic beeps on a CD, and for people to profess how amazing it is. I just wish Fabric would be a little more diverse in itself.

Sure you can, but it seems really silly to bash a CD cause it's a "list of unknowns" when you don't seem to be interested in it anyway. Or are you? I just didn't understand at all your point with that comment :conf:

I do not have many knowledge on it, but comparing the recent Global Communication release to Digweed's mix a couple months (a year?) ago, it sounds nothing alike. How is it not diverse?

The fabric series is a reflection of the music played at fabric, there is diversity to the cd's, as there is to the club's line up's.

Their not going to release a full blown trance classics compilation, when this is not the style of music that is associated with fabric.

How can you forge an opinion if you don't know who the artists are? Fabric are very diverse with their releases, ranging from drum'n'bass to minimal to eclectic stuff. If thats not diverse then I don't know what is.
