I just see the facts and make up to what i believe is the truth.
I dont believe in god. I do believe that we at the end of the day are just a bunch of space dust that has evolved into human beings after billions of years.
I'm not sure about the existence of intelligent life out there. |

agreed, i just have a hard time hearing, "Science is our new religion" due to the fact that in many ways they're diametrically opposed. "Science is the new opiate of the masses." I would be more willing to accept. |

Its not parallel, though, its a progression. Where we believed in things undefinable and unprovable before, we now have facts. |

hehe, i can't believe how heated both sides can get over the issue...especially on internet forums. Is your faith so weak or your confidence in science so frail that you cannot read a snippet of an internet forum without getting frantic? This nearly always seems to be the case and simply weakens the stance of whoever froths the most. This thread looks to die though, tomorrow is Monday and it will be largely ignored. |

How am I getting frantic? I posted a simple response, and don't feel a need to defend what I believe in or why I believe in it. Is that so deplorable? |
