Okay I got the VST plugin for Spectrasonics' Atmosphere but don't have any presets. Can these be purchased or downloaded separately? And if so, what sort of files are they?
Thanks,

lol
what hes trying to say is that wherever you "got" the vst plugin from must have been incomplete...atmosphere is a vst instrument, but you need the 3.5GB data file that houses all the sounds |

And if you don't have that file you must have the program illegal!
And if you did not get it the illegal way you must have known how this vst works, nobody buys crap which costs 250$.

sigh...
if you're going to pirate software... please don't come and complain here when you suck at it.
it took me many years in my younger days to learn how to pirate software effectively, and did I ever once come and whine about how I'm having trouble using something illegally?
never.
just learn the hardway and don't bother us here |

haha
noob warez question
Ever thought about spending money producing music?
One word of advice : having 50 + ripped plugins aren't going to make you produce good songs.
Buy one synth and learn how to use it reading the manual and stuff. Less is more is especially true in producing music. |

Regardless of whether somebody is doing it properly or not, I think that stealing from people that bring you such amazing software is extremely ty. Eric Persing is an amazing sound designer and you probably hear a bit of something he has helped design every day(and he seems like a really nice guy from what I have read). Stealing from Spectrasonics is like spitting in his face. |

I've spit in his face then.
Trust me, I'd love to buy it. And one day I will.
Give me some money and I'd buy it right now.
ALSO: I agree, less is more. When you actually purchase a synth (be it real or VSTi) you do care about it more and are willing to put more time into learning how to use it well.
Honestly, If I had a free car, I'd smash it around and not care, but if I bought a car, I would actually take care of it. |
