Thanks for all your warm welcomes.
Well, the thing is that having a huge trance collection has eliminated the need to go clubs (I didn't even know that there were places in NY that played trance music). Just recently I found out that there is a placed called Crowbar or something like that. So, it made me think that there must be people like me who listen to trance. And here I am.
So, if you, ladies and gents, have the forum events, I'd love to join some day. Listening to it alone is quite not the same:) |

whats great about trance and edm IS the music. however, its also created a 'scene' where u end up meeting some of the most openminded, friendly ppl in NYC ever (not to mention across the country/overseas if you travel) :tongue2 at least come out and see what the local scene is like :D i started loving EDM 3 yrs ago, so im still discovering what edm is all about...its about attitude and heart and love for the music, which seems to describe you :tongue2
but yeah, DEFINITELY hit up parties at LOVE NYC. There are some AWESOME local talent here. We all used to consider SEHO as our 'place' but that recently ended :( Look like this venues going to be 'THE PLACE' for NYTAs. Great occasion to meet up and get to know the majority. :D |

| I actually once went to a psychedelic/Goa trance (which I am also a big fan of) party about 5 years ago. But the fact that most of the people were doing drugs ruined it for me. That's not what I was looking for. I believe that music and drugs don't go together, and in order to appreciate it one doesn't have to get high. |
