video recording question

| I like watching the soprano's on tv. I have a VCR and a computer. What I want to do is record from the tv to the vcr(simple) but then get the vcr recording to the computer. Maybe even get the recording directly to the computer. What hardware + software would I need to accomplish this. In the end I want to burn the epoisodes on the dvd burner. Any suggestions or anyone done this before? |

| Get a video card with a TV tuner, or a separate TV tuner card. They usually come with software to record programs to your hard drive. Check out ATI's website. |

| Thnaks alot so a tv card might do the trick. Not a bad investment. They run around 100-200$ |

You can find the Dazzle Digital Video Converter 80 for about 15~20 bucks on ebay. |
