I've said it last year & i'll say it again this year....
If you plan on making a stop @ Space anytime durng conference..... MAKE SURE YOU GET THERE EARLY!!!
If u wanna see someone do a TERRACE set unfortunately you're gonna have to ride it out the whole night. You guys know time after time, year after year SPACE gets WAY TO OVERPACKED. So unfortunately wanting to get in @ 6am for that terrace set is not gonna happen. I'm not a frequent SPACER anymore & haven't been for a long time because of the way they treat the clubbers on a regular weekend & not necessarily during WMC.
But I do know if I wanna get in I have to be there early. By that I mean no later than 10pm. Otherwise you're gonna get stuck outside wating for hours like I did last year expecting it to appen. Y??? Cuz I got there a little later than i wanted too.
I'm not defending SPace cuz LORd knows I can't stand the way they treat people but I go for the music that is being played that given night. Beat them @ there own game. I know I do & I don't even spend nearly half the money some of you do even with drinks.
So just keep in mind..
Get there early & you will have a BLAST!!!!!
Have fun & be safe during WMC peeps.
(I can't wait to hear all the horror stories from peeps getting there to late to SPACE after being warned not to.)

Space last year was most certainly a gongshow. There is never a shortage of another 1000 people to replace the 2 that walked out.
Tatgirl - you said the first year with the space passes worked really well? Did they have a separate entrace or line or whatever for it? Last year we always managed to get in, but often a staff member would point us to go squeeze through the gates and cut in front of 1000's of people. This is not something I enjoyed considering it seems very rude.
Even with the passes, I dont exepect to walk right in at all, but it would be nice to have a separate entrace/line/whatever to wait in so that you at least knew you were ahead of non-ticket holders etc. Im curious if they have ever done anything like this before?
The easiest time we had actually getting in was when a cop saw us holding up the passes and pushed open the barrier and walked us in. Very random.
Even if you get into space at 4am you cant expect to get up to the terrace in any timely fashion, or sometimes even at all.
I think ill be tailgating outside for Lawler at 8pm LOL. |
