ok deejays we just added our podcasting setup for all deejay users as well as artists/bands
you can now create a radio show/set for submission to iTunes (free), and update it anytime 24/7 - our system lets you create 100% iTunes store compatible radio-set podcasts - get your radio/club mix sets into the Apple store Podcasting section alongside people like Ministry of Sound, Digweed, Tong etc
Everything is free and automatic - to update your show/set just upload a new mix via our admin, click the admin 'update' button and iTunes picks it up and updates the new show/set.
No need to send people off to a web address for your latest set, once people subscribe, you are in their iTunes s/w and they can get any updates automaticaly.
HERE IS HOW TO DO IT - DETAILS
ps. we offer the same for original artists too! - your tracks, image/logo, details & webpage link, all in iTunes - 50mb free space, no waiting-time
100% free - dead easy to do - you control it, no need for admin contacts etc - 24/7
our site is advert free and non-profit, run by musos.

50Mb seems not enough for a good quality mix, thats about 50 min with 128kb...
Btw, why do you do this? It sounds great though. |

Took the words right out of my mouth......maybe they are nice guys.....maybe they are looking for new sets and don't want to hassle with making their own podcasts..... |

well, alot of radio shows are 64k, also you get less hassle with potential 'bootlegging' complaint issues at 64k
Yes, we ARE nice guys!! :whip: we dont do sets tho ourselves, we do hosting - Last dj set i did was at the school friday lunchtime disco :) lol

well the sets if submitted to iTunes aren't in anyway visibly linked to us. If you have a website, the podcast links to that address if you add your website in your user-details edit.
anyways, it's free, it's reliable... I know we live in a cynical world, but...
so for a 1 hour set at 128k i'd need to be how big?.. mebbe we should bump it up to cover that.. 60mb?... hang on... ok, i checked... a 1 hour 5 minute 128k set and it's 62.8mb - so if i bump it up to 65mb is that ok for ya?..... hang on
ok, it's now 65mb max - enjoy - see, I told u we were nice. |

| Dang, nice guys for sure! Are you guys thinking of making a SOAP interface to it? Would be awesome if I could add the feature to my site and add some ads/promos for you guys on it...... |

well on your site, you just add the podcast icon and apple address is linked with it (if you have created a podcast and submitted it successfully to apple iTunes)
but, all sets/remixes added to our site ALSO get a standard PLAY streaming link which can be used anywhere, such as in these forums. |
