At work, I can't access my gmail account (and other website like hotmail, myspace, yousendit, etc) because access is denied.
I was told of a website that you can use to access the website you need, without triggering the company filter.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about and can suggest something?
Is there another way around this?
Thanks :happy2: |

you should be very careful of passing sensitive data (ie. your password) through any public proxy.
you really need to find the IT geek who has a hidden proxy on the company LAN. ;) |

Thanks! I tried searching before but didn't come up with anything like this. I'll test it out tomorrow. |

That's cool. I have 6 months more of co-op before heading back to school full time. I'll try not to get fired until then :haha:
I really hope they don't see what I do on the internet/email :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

How might one go about doing this? |

Of course I'm assuming the corp. firewall will allow it and the far end (the computer at home) is set to allow remote connections.
