Number of samples, fx, automation etc used?

| I read a post somewhere the other day and the guy said how many fx, samples etc hed used which made me think how minimal and that makes me songs look, so im curious to know what amount is usually used. |

| See thats what i mean whats all the automation for? :| I've only ever used it for fading out kicks and a few other FX on leads. |

then 30-50 Channels, and 10-20 VST channels.
in addition I have ~50 FX plugins active. |

-15 automation
-13 equalizers
oh....and 100% cpu load :p
all done in the track in my sig. ;) |

| i read in sound on sound recently that the darkness had up 100 guitar tracks on a 2 second sample in a song..mad!! |
