what an amazing weekend
Funktrusts 5th birthday on thursday was the best wya tot start off the weekend; memorable moments: taking pictures of the Westpac Security Guard curled up in the foetal position at 5am on friday morning right after seeinga bum squat down in the middle of the road to take a
LIvewire was one of the best events i've been to, IMO it was better than Summer Ball, great to see the entire TA crew there! Holden, Pappa, and Seaman were brilliant!
good to meet you Al_Mac and lister
Awesome afterparty at grunts house, good to see the the crew there, Nath thanks for the 5 hour set! |

yeah livewire was def better than summer ball for me.
Holden started off really well but sorta lost me halfway through
paolo was awesome on the terrace, seamen was awesome, very animated, wanted him to play my track though, but unless u were a 6ft blonde he didnt seem to care much.
that mashup at the end with paolo and pappa was unbelievable, almost wish i hadnt left but home stopped serving drinks and i was still thirsty.
Webmeister has an awesome fkn place shame he was too tired to stay up though, then to Bondi for an hour or so, then to Grunts house who also has a wikked place with heaps of room. Was funny playing, too drunk to care about mixing i just wanted to hear some choons.
left Grunts at about 5:30 so couldnt be assed goin to the garden for just a cpl of hours.
Top night cant wait for paolo on the 28th, and then Habit on the 12th. I need a job, this is getting to be expensive.
Track of the night for me was Paolo's Remix of Aftermath, never heard it before, fkn loved it |

Overall, easily one of the best weekends and events ever. Never seen home like that before, vibe was totally amazing and i was completely surrounded by people i knew everywhere i went. Don't even get me started on the music .. i was hit for 6 by every set on the night regardless of what room i was in. DJ T playing Serge Santiago - D'Atto Amore = :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: and my god when Seaman played Punch drunk on that massive Home system i nearly died .. not to mention hearing Ingrosso's Get it back out for the first time (i think Mojo played that during the mashup?). I didn't get to see any of Paolo Mojo's individual set and saw very little of Rex the dog but that doesn't matter because i will hopefully catch Rex @ Laundry this weekend and then see Mojo @ sweetchilli the weekend after. For once home was perfectly filled imo thanks to less available tickets being sold and also i think the fact that they spread the international DJ's across all the different rooms and floors.
Big ups to every single person that i partied with this long weekend and additional high fives to everyone who kicked on at my place afterwards and even after that. Also a massive shoutout to the sweetchilli kids and the sounds crew for what will probably remain the event of the year in my eyes.
Great to meet a bunch of new people too off ITM and TA including Al. Shame i didn't end up seeing Lister, Bec or Ghostface :( Next time eh? ;) |

Awesome night, better than Renaissance and Digweed's 5 hour.
My post from ITM:
Top Night! Well done Sweetchilli! I won't be forgetting this one for a long time!
I didn't really rate Holden's set in the main room all that highly. A few decent tracks here & there but for me it was just mostly beeps, clicks & warped basslines, with no vibe whatsoever. I didn't hear his set in the other room so can't comment on that.
Pappa's set was definitely the highlight for me. His first track was immediately better than anything Holden played IMO, and it just got better & better from there. I thought it was going to be a tough ask for him to top his 2004 set but it was definitely on par. His last hour in particular was fantastic. Tough, bangin' prog house & prog. trance. It's good to see are still some prog. DJ's out there who are not jumping on the electro bandwagon. Hope some people can point out some tracks from this set.
Dave Seaman also played a great set following on from Pappa, a bit slower & with more af a funky vibe but still very good, kept me on the dancefloor til almost 6am.
I didn't get to go to the other rooms much but there was enough quality music in the main room that I didn't feel the need to. |

I should also add .. the next person that i see wasting one of my beers/ciders after i mission down to the grog shop and bring it back, gets skulled by a parking metre :P
I was cleaning up yesterday and about 60% of the beer and cider bottles were half full |
