I personally thought that there were some kick ass performances.

Paul McCartney rocked the house. Unfortunatly, I missed his performance with Jay-Z and Lincoln Park, and I heard it was spectacular. If anyone can help me find a clip of that performance, it would be much appreciated. :)

- Paul McCartney with Jay-Z and Linkin Park was awesome.

- Mary J Blige butchered the U2 tune when she did a duet with them.

I dunno what else to say, really. Like always, it was an MTV-filled evening, so I wasn't too impressed. I only watched it for the Bruce Springsteen performance, as my dad is a huge fan of his.

myself, I didn't like the Z/Linkin/Paul collaboration. Putting JayZ and Linkin Park on the stage with likes of a living legend, Paul McCartney, made me roll my eyes so hard that my glasses cracked. Paul is only Paul when it's JUST Paul.

i only saw a minute of it, if that, but right at the beginning i cracked up when stevie wonder kept saying to alicia keys that she looked great :p

'wait lemme take off my sunglasses and get a better look'
:haha:

I loved the opening act w/ the Gorillaz and Madonna. Even though she performed that number already, it was a great way to open. She looks amazing.

Kanye didn't win Album of the year cause George Bush doesn't like black people.
