What track first sent you on your trance journey?

| When i got into EDM in sixth grade the first song i liked was that Dj Boom Boom-Ecstasy track lol wow...that brings me back...i know where i heard it for the first time.....it was at my cousins for a birthday party |

There's no single track who made it for me. I heard many many many before I got REALLY addicted.
PvD - For An Angel/My World/Another Way
LSG - Hearts (yes, already in 1994)
and a lot of RMB stuff.
Think the one who got me into fan scene was "Deep Down Below" by RMB. From there on I moved into internet scene forums, where I found the music I loved. |

Dance 2 Trance - We Came In Peace (Desert Mix)
More specifically, the whole album Moon Spirits. My EDM knowledge had largely consisted of only euro-dancey fare with the odd old ravey tune mixed in (word to Shepp) for the first 3 years, so when I heard a full album of nothing but simple, spacey loops and repeating samples, my first reaction was "Hey, where are the lyrics!?"
My second reaction was "I gotta find me some more of this." |
