| are there security cameras in theatres? you'd think with the piracy problems they wouldnt be there unless they only pointed towards the audience. i've looked around for them before but i've never seen them. have you ever seen one? |

| The only defense against piracy that I've ever seen at all of my local theatres is when the theatre dude comes down to check the emergency doors in the middle of the movie. |

yeah i see a security person come in once or twice and stand near the the entrance of the hallway opening and look around at the audience for a min then stand for a couple more and watch the movie and leave.
i mostly wonder because i dont like the thought of a security guy in a room full of securtiy monitors jacking off to people making out... specifically my girlfriend and i :wtf: |

yes, thats what happends here to.. only at the ticket control their checking for people bringing video camera's, thats all. imagine in the near future when our mobile phones have the compatibility to record a theatre movie at high quality, they will have to check everybody for mobile phones lol:wtf: |

and they also implement dots in movies when they show them. That way when a pirated movie comes out, authorities see the pattern of dots and they then know where it was shown. Of course its after the fact, but it gets people that try to do it multiple times. |

he probly did it all nonchalant around a ton of people and someone was like wtf. that or a movie person came in or maybe the guy in the back room changing reels reported him |
