i need oscillation cds...

i test speakers at work and i need test cds with various frequencies and what not, well i dont need it but i want it...ideas

Use a sound editor.
Storyteller
programs as adobe audition or softsynths can generate the tones you want. And then you can burn them to cd :)

This has a large collection of Disgnostic tracks on it. The LEDR is particularly useful (And reccomended by Bob Katz, so its reccomendation is from someone who REALLY knows what they're talking about.

Created by Alan Parsons (Audio Engineer on Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd for one). Vey good diagnostic tool. Also you can get it with a sound meeter to actually measure room esponses.

If you have soundforge, it's FM synthesiser has some nice test tones, and the simle synthesiser allows you to specify what frequency you want.

sorry to go off topic but what is adobe audition? i thought adobe made software for reading pdf files! ive heard it mentioned a few times im curious

well they do make photoshop as well :rolleyes:

Audition is essentially Cool Edit. Adobe bought them out a couple years ago.
