Think you've got the style? In an attempt to FINALLY settle the age old question, "Is it the tracklist or the DJ that makes the set?", we're calling all trance DJs to preform an original mixed set of no more than 30 minutes with as many/few tracks from the predetermined track listing as deemed necessary by the participant. Any remix of a particular track may be used to allow for each participant's individual style. For the sake of a level playing field, no intros or voice overs will be allowed. Effects may be used in the mix as they express individual style.
Any remix of any track for the participant's tracklisting to be chosen from the following:
4 Strings - Into The Night
Agnelli and Nelson - El Nino
Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday
Altitude - Excession
Andain - Beautiful Things
Armin Van Buuren - Communication
Armin Van Buuren - Shivers
ATB/Olive - Youre Not Alone
Billy Hendrix - Body Shine
Binary Finary - 1998/1999
Blank and Jones - Cream
Blank & Jones - Desire
David Forbes - Questions
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar
Ferry Corsten - Punk
Gouryella - Gouryella
Holden & Thompson - Nothing
Three Drives - Greece 2000
Lost Tribe - Game Master
Lost Witness - Happiness Happening
Matt Darey & Marcella - Beautiful/Temptation
Paul Van Dyke - For An Angel
Perpetuous Dreamer - The Sound of Goodbye
Pulser - Cloudwalking
Push - Strange World/Legacy
Rank 1 - Airwave/Awakening
Solar Stone - Seven Cities
Sunburst - Eyeball
Svenson & Gielen - Beauty of Silence
Sygnus X - Superstring (Rank 1)
System F - Out of the Blue
Tiesto - Adagio For Strings
Tiesto - Sparkles (Transa)
Tiesto - Urban Train/Flight 643
Travel- Bulgarian
Fairness Act:
Each set will be posted by the host as a number with a tracklist allowing listeners to judge a set unbiasedly not by name but by tracklisting/mix quality only. The participant's number will be furnished to him/her at the time of entry by the one deemed "El Numerator". Any participant giving out his/her set number to the forum public will be disqualified from the competition.

well i believe that its not one thing that makes the set!
for starters its the dj who has a certain style and enthusiasm, and combine with a good traklist. this therefore makes the set enjoyable!
how hard is that?
but this question is too hard to answer as it can be taken many ways! |

I think that's the point.
However, I only have 5 of those songs. Can't do 30 minutes worth off of that. |
