that is all.

You probably support all newspapers submitting their editorials to a public "review board" to make sure nothing unpatriotic is said, don't you?

If you think this, you probably should, you know, change countries. Bon voyage!

i could never burn the irish flag. If i saw another irish person do it, i would feel like killing them.

i don't think i could. If i wanted to protest the administration i would burn the ruling party logo

i believe that burning the american flag (or any flag for that matter) is at the same level of a person faking winning the most decorated medal for the country, for the U.S. being the Medal of Honor. I personally belive that it should be a felony. Regardless of if you agree with an administartion or not, when you burn a flag, you deface every single american.

Im particularly concerned about the American flag, but feel free to respond either way.

Do you think there is something that an administration could do or not do that would make you angry enough to want to burn a flag in protest? Why? What would that be?

My personal opinion is that the right to burn the American flag is one of our greatest freedoms, and yes there have been times when I think it would be appropriate. The first being when we went to war in Iraq and the second being when Bush got reelected.

i will try hard not to slam you, but you really do seem a bit ignorant.

burn the flag when Bush got re-elected? what has this got to do with the "administration" doing something to make you angry enough to burn the flag? the people have voted, and chose their president. get over it. or go burn a flag if you so desire to...

Oh, well when you put it that way it makes it sound much more fun. Anyone have a flag handy?

as mentioned before - could only do this as part of a formal flag burning ceremony.

If it ever came to the point where I hated the US so much that my visceral reaction was to burn the flag I would have probably left the country long ago, ceased to care, and thus wouldn't have burned the flag.

I would only burn the flag, in the spirit of defiance, with one specific issue ... and that would be if issue in question was burning the flag. Isn't that the American thing to do?

I have a question for those of you who strongly opposes burning the flag of your country: What are you supposed to do with old worn flags when you get a new one? I mean, you can't really throw it in the trash, as that's defacing as well?

i agree it's a pretty stupid way to make a statement...

everyone knows it's all about burning effigies of your favorite politicians...
